Rebecca Miller art directed and photographed The House of Wedgwood, continuing the rebrand collaboration for a second season.

Working with creative agency BuroCreative and co-art director and props stylist Twig Hutchinson, the team dreamt up these wonderfully eccentric and hyper-real concepts for the iconic English brand.

The team then returned to Barlaston Hall (part of the Wedgwood Estate) for a 3 day shoot, creating these scenes of contemporary English elegance at it’s finest.

Amit & Naroop’s personal project ‘Singh’  is a series of portraits of British Sikh men. To the duo, the turban and beard are the most powerful and obvious symbols of the identity of a Sikh man, and ‘Singh’ is a celebration of that identity.

Although the project is still in it’s infancy, it has already received a phenomenal response, including a feature on It’s Nice That

The men who feature in this project are businessmen, boxers, IT professionals, doctors, fashion stylists, temple volunteers, magicians and a host of occupations , all adapting the interpreting the Sikh traditions in their own way.

“The aim of ‘Singh’ is to capture the essence of modern “Sikhness” and to pay tribute to the beauty and variety of British Sikh Men.” – Amit & Naroop

- ‘Singh’ is due to be exhibited this Summer. In the meantime, keep up to date with the latest news and images from the project here

Sir Paul McCartney, Slash, Brian May, Wilko Johnson, John Squire, Steve Jones and Jimmy Page are all ‘Resonators’; with the rest of rock’s elite they are the subjects of Scarlet Page’s latest project, an exhibition of epic portraits at The Royal Albert Hall in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust.
Scarlet grew up surrounded by music and musicians, the daughter of Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin, the ‘guitarist’s guitarist’.  She began her career in photography, establishing herself as a successful music photographer, but she had been taking pictures of bands for over 15 years before she finally managed to shoot Jimmy ‘officially’ for a Sunday newspaper.  The session gave her the idea for a collection of portraits of guitar legends.
Scarlet explains, “I really wanted to do a charity project and Teenage Cancer Trust, with its incredible musical pedigree, and the amazing work it does, seemed ideal. I’ve been shooting now for over a year, and I’m not going to stop just yet”.
Resonators will open at the RAH on 24th March, and will run until 24th April. The prints will be on sale online in limited editions of 25. The first print of each edition will be signed by the ‘Resonator’ and Scarlet, and will be auctioned on ebay with all profits going to TCT. For a full list of subjects please visit the Resonators Facebook page.
Resonators prints will be on sale online at www.shootgroup.com/prints/scarlet-page-resonators/ . For the ‘first print eBay auction’ click here.
Resonators is kindly sponsored by Metro Imaging and Happy Finish.

Gaolhouse is an old English term for ‘jail’. Their products are designed and developed in collaboration with Her Majesty’s Royal Prison Service – a unique approach that supports prison industries and utilises a skilled workforce as part of their rehabilitation.
